Giving Back This Holiday Season: Supporting Charlotte’s Annual Toy Drive

This holiday season, we were proud to support Charlotte’s 12th Annual Toy Drive by collecting toy donations through the generosity of our clients and our own team members.

What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a meaningful community tradition. At just four years old, Charlotte Kirby launched her first toy drive in West Virginia with the heartfelt goal of making the holidays brighter for children in need. After the Kirby family relocated to Gloucester in 2019, the toy drive was reestablished locally in 2020 and has continued to grow each year thanks to the compassion and support of local businesses, organizations, and volunteers.

Each holiday season, Charlotte partners with community organizations to sponsor toy drop-off locations, making participation easy for families and businesses alike. Donated toys are distributed to children and teens ages 0–19 through Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church, helping bring comfort, joy, and a sense of celebration to families throughout Gloucester during the holiday season.

We were honored to serve as a drop-off location, offering our clients a simple way to give back while members of our team also contributed personally. We are deeply grateful to our clients for their generosity and kindness, which help make a meaningful difference for children in our community.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Charlotte for her leadership, compassion, and vision. Her dedication is a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. Giving back is an important part of who we are, and we are proud to support initiatives that strengthen and uplift the communities we serve.
